buyz.cash holds no coins and no keys. What that means, and what cannot be undone.
What this is
buyz.cash is an interface to NEAR Intents, a network where independent market makers compete to fill swaps. We do not operate that network, we do not hold your coins at any point, and we do not take custody. When you start a swap, NEAR Intents issues a one-time deposit address; the coins you send go to it, and the ZEC settles directly to the Zcash address you gave us.
We hold no keys, so we cannot move, freeze, reverse or recover your funds. That is the trade you are making by using something non-custodial, and it is the point.
What we cannot undo
A swap sent to an address you mistyped is gone. We cannot retrieve it and neither can anyone else. Check the address before you send — it is the one irreversible step, and it is yours.
On chains that require a memo or tag, a deposit sent without it cannot be traced back to you. The interface warns you before and during; the consequence is still permanent.
A deposit address stops accepting funds after the time shown on the swap. Anything arriving later may not be recoverable.
Rates and fees
Rates come from market makers and move. The rate you are quoted is bound to that quote and to the slippage limit you set; if the market moves past it before your deposit is filled, the swap refunds to the address you nominated rather than filling at a price you did not agree to.
buyz.cash charges no fee of its own. You pay the market maker’s spread, a routing fee taken by NEAR Intents, and the Zcash network fee to deliver the coins — all inside the quoted rate. You separately pay your own chain’s fee to send, which goes to that network. If we ever add a fee it will appear as its own line in the quote before you commit.
No advice, no guarantees
Nothing here is financial advice. Zcash and every asset listed can lose value. The service is provided as-is, without warranty; we do not promise uptime, and a swap can fail for reasons on a chain or a market maker we do not control. In that case your coins return to your refund address.
To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the fees you paid us — which, while we charge nothing, is nothing.
Using it lawfully
You are responsible for complying with the law where you live, including tax and sanctions rules. Do not use buyz.cash where doing so would break the law, and do not use it to launder money or move the proceeds of crime.
We do not operate accounts, so we cannot suspend one. We can stop serving the interface, and NEAR Intents can decline to route a swap.
